The XROS 4 arrives with a 0.4Ω pod pre-installed — let it sit filled for 5 minutes before your first vape so the mesh coil fully saturates and doesn't dry-hit. To refill, pull the mouthpiece off the top of the pod — this reveals a leak-resistant red fill port. Add e-liquid there rather than down the centre airflow channel. Stick to nic salt or 50/50 e-liquid. Thicker 70/30 high-VG liquid isn't recommended — it wicks more slowly through the mesh coil and can burn the pod out faster than intended. The three power modes (Strong, Stronger, Strongest, shown via colour-coded LED) plus pulse-boost change vapour and throat hit without a separate wattage dial. The 0.8Ω pod is the better match for nic salts and 50/50; the pre-installed 0.4Ω pod gives a slightly looser draw. A full charge takes around 30 minutes over USB-C. Any pod from the wider XROS series (XROS, XROS 2, XROS 3) fits the XROS 4, so existing pods and spares carry over if you're upgrading from an earlier kit.
