Why 50/50 VG/PG Suits Pod Kits

Vegetable glycerine (VG) is thicker and produces more vapour; propylene glycol (PG) is thinner and carries flavour and throat hit more strongly. A 50/50 split balances the two: enough PG to give a satisfying throat hit similar to smoking, and enough VG to wick properly through a small pod coil without drying it out. Higher-VG mixes (70/30 and above) need a sub-ohm tank with a bigger wicking channel — using them in a small pod coil can cause dry hits and burnt taste.
